Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

Description of Problem:
When using the assign categories feature of contacts, tasks or calendar,
when making editing changes to the list of categories, the application
allows the user to select a "category color", which then brings up a
"Pick a Color" dialog box. Any changes made to this box are displayed
in the "Category Properties" dialog, but once you click okay, the
changes to the Category color are not saved. Because of this, the new
colors selected are not displayed anywhere.

Either the color should be saved and displayed in the modules, or this
option should be removed from the Category Properties dialog.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. When viewing a contact, task or calendar item click on button
labelled "Categories...".
2. Select (by clicking on) a category listed in the list titled
"Available Categories".
3. Click on the button labelled "Edit"
4. Click on the button labelled "Category Color"
5. In the "Pick a Color" dialog enter any information to select a color
other than the default black color.
6. Click "OK" button to finalize your new color selection.
7. Notice that your tasteful new color selection has appeared in the
"Categories Properties" dialog.
8. Click "OK" button to finalize your changes to the category
properties.
9. Click the button lablled "Edit" and notice that the color has
reverted back to basic black, which although it goes with everything, it
is not the tasteful new color that you selected. The original color has
been lost.

Actual Results:
Category colors cannot be saved, and hence new colors selected for
categories are never displayed.

Expected Results:
Category colors should be saved, and as appropriate should be displayed
as assigned.

How often does this happen?
Every time and in every case.
