Bug Description
I downloaded DreamPie, and just ran the installer.
Whether launched from the shortcuts in the start menu or from C:\Program Files\DreamPie, the shell appears, and quickly disappears/closes after a few lines are printed to it (closes too quickly to read the output).
Running dreampie in the command prompt results in:
C:\PROGRA~
Traceback (most recent call last):

ImportError: DLL load failed: The specified module could not be found.
I have pygtk installed. Thought maybe gtk is not installed, so installed Pidgin (which installs gtk). Ran dreampie from the command prompt again. No change.
I have Python 2.6.

This is in Windows XP running inside VirtualBox OSE.
Thanks for the report!
The fact that the window disappears is normal: Having a console is needed for interrupt to work, and the --hide- console- window option hides the console window since it is normally not needed.
This may be a duplicate of bug #525652 (which is good - it may help us to triage it.)
Is your Windows XP 32 or 64 bit?
