Bug Description
I installed 1.21-0ubuntu1~ppa4 on Karmic. It suggested the package testdrive-gtk which I installed as well.
Launching testdrivegtk from the command prompt (it didn't seem to install a menu entry, no .desktop file in the package), a GTK window popped up with a long list of distro versions to try. I clicked on one and nothing happened.
In the terminal window I saw:
andyp@acheron:~$ testdrivegtk
/bin/sh: /usr/share/
I linked /usr/bin/testdrive in place:
andyp@acheron:~$ sudo ln -s /usr/bin/testdrive /usr/share/
andyp@acheron:~$ testdrivegtk
rsync: link_stat "/ubuntu-
rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1523) [receiver=3.0.6]
So the GUI is currently not usable (but you probably knew that since the prefs and about windows are not very functional either).

Thanks for the report.
Sorry, testdrivegtk is currently abandoned.
Thanks for the reminder, though, I'll drop testdrivegtk from the Suggests.
