Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

I cannot think of anything else other than that I had a similar problem in firefox 3.0, and it has been solved using information found at firefox site. I am using Ubuntu 9.04; Epiphany Web Browser 2.26.1; I would hope to find a fix for the return key.

ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: i386
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/epiphany-gecko
Package: epiphany-gecko 2.26.1-0ubuntu1
ProcEnviron:
 LANG=en_US.UTF-8
 SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: epiphany-browser
Uname: Linux 2.6.28-18-generic i686

Peace. My error. Actual problem is with the "back space" key in epiphany
browser [not the 'return key'].

If you mean that going back to the previous page doesn't work by pressing the Backspace key, that's right, but there is a shortcut assigned, alt+left.

I have checked other browsers too - neither firefox, nor chromium go back with the backspace key. Therefore setting this bug to Invalid.

Changed in epiphany-browser (Ubuntu):
status: New → Invalid

Thanks for the info re: alt+left. However, firefox Backspace key does go
back to a previous page.
