For anyone needing a workaround, the command "adduser" executed from the terminal can be used to add a new user. Type "adduser -help" for usage instructions.

Strangely, though, the new user created with this command does not show up in the users-admin GUI, nor does it show up in the list diaplayed at the login screen. You have manually enter the new uesr's login name in order to log him/her in.

The problem is in oobs_user_commit() we try to get a length of the NULL string so the bug is really in liboobs package

That's fixed in liboobs 2.29.90. Have you asked Chris before assigning him this bug? Generally, there's no need for that, since he will package the new version when he finds time to do it, disregarding the Assignee status.

Oh, I said 2.29.90 again - I meant 2.29.91 obviously. I'm defintely lost as regards my liboobs versioning... :-p
