Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I just have tried to check how it is working. It synced only part of files in my U1 directory. Another part of files not appeared on U1 server (checked by longing with browser). During the few hours time U1 applet have been downloading another part, but files have not appeared on U1 server. I deleted files in my directory. This was not acknowledged on the U1 server. I deleted manually these files on U1 server using browser interface. Putted another file to the dir-ry. U1 applet acknowledged it but sync not started, even after 15 minutes. When I restarted U1 applet crush happened. The pause between each of these steps was enough to sync not only 100 MB, but even 2GB.

This whole notification system is crap. I get everyone's emails too,
then I get one saying some bug or another that may or may not be related
to the one I reported, has been Triaged, whatever that means.... based
on past experience I'm assuming it's going to be ignored.

The I get this one, BTW I don't speak Spnaish either, only Australian,
Profane and Norfolk Island.

I think the issue here is that we have reported different bugs but they
have grouped them as they relate to the same underlying problem. We then
all get replies back from all the different bugs it seems.

My name is also not Avinas and I do also not speak spanish. I think you
can remove your name from the info list about the bugs and then just go
and look at them at their site if you want to see what happens

*I apologize to anyone who received an email on this bug who was not marked
directly as a subscriber of this bug. I did several bugs today and I guess I
got careless and went out of order in the duplication marking process.
Meaning that I must have marked this as a duplicate before I commented. This
resulted in everyone who has a duplicate of this bug got an email. This is
not the normal behaviour for a bug that is triaged correctly. I want to make
it clear that this was an error on my behalf and not the Launchpad
notification system.*

well, i think everyone who has reported and therefore "subscribed" for the
bug will get this email...
You can go the mentioned bug-side and remove your subsriscribtion, then you
won't get anymore messages...

If there weren't so many notifications raised, and I'm only interested
in the bug I reported, I might be able to add additional information,
assuming anyone is interested.

But there are so damned many emails coming through after I've posted a
bug, I don't know which one to respond to, and I'm never sure if they
are from someone wanting more information, or something like this where
we're all complaining/repsponding to complaints about too many damn
emails.

Seriously, even though I can't fix the problem, I'd love to help by
providing more information when asked.
