In gconf-editor apps/nautilus/preferences the media_automount is set to true but I have no automount.

* plug in a usb pen.
* It shows in places but not in /media.
* press in place it show in /media.

I figured out that Desktop->Gnome->Session did not have the filemanager set to nautilus. Once it was set the automount worked again.
