Bug Description

Binary package hint: plymouth

Hi,

since around December 2009, plymouth has got a manpage upstream which explains the basic usage. It would be nice to have the manpage in the Ubuntu package so people know how to change the default theme and so on.

PS: I am the author of that manpage and I think I will also slightly overhaul a bit to include more information.

Adrian

Thanks for reporting this bug and any supporting documentation.

I pulled the source in Ubuntu and the upstream version. The Ubuntu version seems to be missing the "docs" folder. Marking confirmed.

Thanks for taking the time to make Ubuntu better!

This bug was fixed in the package plymouth - 0.8.0~-10ubuntu1

---------------
plymouth (0.8.0~-10ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low

  * Merge from upstream:
    - change plymouth-set-default-theme help output
    - include upstream manpage (LP: #518414)
  * Add an apport hook to collect /proc/fb and /proc/cmdline.
