When clicking "clear search" button, all transactions should be shown

After I've searched for a transaction I want to see all transactions again. I click "clear search" button, input field empties, but I still see only transactions matching previous search. I have to guess that I also need to press Enter to apply current filter. This is not too good. I suppose that click on that button should not only clear input, but also remove filter from table.

On a side note maybe filter should be applied instantly on every input change. Over years I've got used that all alike search fields work instantly, and again got moment of surprise when I typed a value and nothing changed.

Thanks, that's true indeed, it should at least clear the search when you click the clear button. I'll see if I can implement for 0.7 and get it out today!

Since 0.7 is a few days late and I'd really like to get it out, I'll schedule this for the next release, likely 0.7.1 if there is one or 0.8 otherwise. Shouldn't take long!

The clear search button now behaves as expected, and also just clearing the search field and hitting enter also cancels the search. Thanks for the report! I've turned the auto-search into its own bug report, bug #549878, by the way.
