Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Sorry, can't run this using the 9.10 live cd, hence the 9.04 details...

HDD = 0 (crashed & waiting for replacement) MB = GA-M68SM-S2L (BIOS updated recently)
Is it possible the architecture is wrong? i386 vs 64bit? I don't think so & seem to remember the alternate cd for 9.04 didn't work before.

Anyway, I have no access to any F-key functions & have to wait for automatic installation. It boots & is running, I think, but the monitor dies so I can't see anything ;-P
'out of range' message. I know refresh rate is too high - 35.3kHz / 79Hz. The monitor (LG W2242S) max refresh rate is 75Hz, if I remember correctly.

I've tried booting with monitor power cable unplugged & 'CTRL ALT +' repeated ad nauseum also had no effect.

Help?

Hi

I've found a work-around but it doesn't remove the source problem.

I use a cordless keyboard & mouse. Once replaced with a corded one, I could
navigate the Live CD to load in "Safe Graphics mode".

Thanks
