Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Following an upgrade to the latest available packages, update-manager will offer to "remove obsolete packages". The user is presented with an extra explanatory note that "fetching and installing the upgrade can take several hours".
It is my understanding that if all this part of the process is going to do is to auto-remove packages, then it will not require any downloading and is unlikely to take a long period of time.
Ideally the messages for this part of the process could be adjusted to be less misleading.
