Bug Description
Binary package hint: xserver-
After I rotate my tablet screen (eg: the actual screen, not using xsetwacom) and put it back, the built-in keyboard and pointing stick on my HP 2710p go completely dead. My stylus tablet input still works perfectly, as does a bluetooth mouse.
Ctrl+Alt+Fx does not work, and the only workaround I have been able to produce thus far is bringing the stylus into detectable range and then bringing it out again over and over, and eventually the keyboard and mouse get unstuck (weird, I know). This workaround only happens sometimes, and more recently I have simply needed to restart my laptop to get keyboard and mouse input working.
If it helps any, sometimes my laptop boots - no screen rotation - and I have the same problem, my workaround does not work in this case, and I am forced to simply restart using my stylus.
Using:
Ubuntu 9.10 fully updated as of this date
Repos: main, universe, restricted, multiverse
I am more than willing to give more information upon request.
