Some comments:

* please add old Ubuntu entries to the changelog;

* according to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebianMaintainerField, the Maintainer field in debian/{control,control.in} should be set to Ubuntu Developers <email address hidden>;

* any reason you added i686 to architectures of dependencies in debian/control? It is not in the list of allowed strings (http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/footnotes.html#f71).

Looks good otherwise.

hi, thanks for looking at this. i've made the changes you mentioned to the maintainer field and have added the ubuntu changelog entries.
The i686 added to the control build-deps isnt added manually, its being automatically generated by build-deps.in from @GST_LIB_DEV_DEP@, @GST_EXTRA_BUILD_DEPENDS@. is this a problem?

Uploaded, thank you.

i686 in debian/control is not really a problem, just lintian dislikes
it. I removed it so that the debdiff is easier to evaluate in future.
