Binary package hint: emesene

i have all the libmimic libraries installed but emsesne still says I don't have libmimic installed. I am using the latest version of emesene out of the official Ubuntu repos

He needs python-libmimic (which Depends on libmimic0)

yes i have now got rid of emesene and gone to aMSN but i did have libmimic0
installed because i installed all of the libmimic stuff i could but the
webcam feature still didn't work

i installed all the libmimic stuff i could find including the python package
but the webcam feature still didn't work

emesene 1.x is not supported anymore. Please use emesene 2, which is available in from the standard repositories since Natty, or from our ppa:
 https://launchpad.net/~emesene-team/+archive/emesene-stable
