Just installed 9.10 1/17 my email attached downloads on displaying I can only hear the audio from my gmail,,I went to applications mplayer and vid screen shows but wouldn't play,,,,,mark sutter

Just install 9.10 on a new used computer I purchased,,I've been using ubuntu for 2 yrs,,,,,,the mplayer comes up to download my gmail email attachment videos,,,,audio plays video doesn't show,,,,,,,mark sutter

When we installed the last updates,we didn't restart the computer. I left it
on. The next day when I did some more updates and restarted the computer the
download software is working now,,,thanks Mark Sutter
