In the Dutch version if you click in the menu on Bewerken > Voorkeuren > tab Weergave, you can switch of visual effects. (In the English version it is something in the menu like: Edit > Preferences > tab Display) The program don react on this setting change.

Hello Pedro,

Excuse me for the very late reply. I had some problems with installing Karmic. After installing I tried the same test with Totem again. And it seems that the problem is solved in Karmic. But it is not completely stable. I tried the test a number of times. One time, Totem freezes. I had to force closing the program. I have no idea why this happened.

Kind regards,

Gerrit
