Did you manually removed the file /etc/motion/motion.conf ?

Hi, thanks.

I have really manually remove motion.conf, and edit file /etc/default/motion
for starting up daemon. After that, I decide to re-install motion, apt-get
remove .... install.... and, have recv. thats error. In that moment, all ok.
I have go to the Synaptic and choose: full remove of packet. After that:
install.

Thanks for following up. I'm closing this report due to your last comment.
For your reference, when you 'remove' a package the configuration files are kept, so when you reinstall it, the configuration is preserved. If you want to fully remove a package including conf file you need to 'purge' the package. That's what you did with synaptic full removal.

Don't hesitate to submit any new bug.
