Connection Error despite active connection

Bug Description

Starting just this morning, anytime I try to sync, I'm told "Connection Error! Check your Internet connection & try again..."

This has persisted through restarts of the phone and of Astrid. Astrid seems to be working otherwise, and other apps (Browser, etc.) have full internet connectivity. Suggestions?

Sounds like a remember the milk error.

We are trying to contact them about support for their API.
Periodically they have downtimes.

Please excuse my brevity as this was sent from my phone.

Same problem here, happened some time after 8am, since astrid shows last sync as 1/11 8:04....

Same problem here (Holland); since yesterday same error; despite restarting phone, all other internet connections allrite, on wifi, 3G. Manual sync does not work neither; no software upgrades in the last two weeks. RTM works fine on the PC, Astrid works fine on the phone; just the sync is gone.
HTC hero on 1.6.

I've had this problem too - but since just before 12pm (noon) UK time, it seems to have been corrected.

OK, looks resolved. Perhaps the error screen could include a reminder to check the RTM status URL?

This has been happening for me again for the past couple of hours, but nothing on RTM's status blog. Is there a known issue?
