Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

I was listening some .mp3 when I wanted to add some Add-ons (Menu Editions/Greffons in French), I add the Jamendo one with no problem but after that, when I click back on "Go To" or "Help" or another menu,it's window stays opened.
The only way to make all opened menu windows disappear is to ALT+TAB to go to another application and then return to totem but if I click again, the bug reappear.

I join a capture and more infos in the attachment.

I do not use Totem so would you mind just documenting the specific steps I would need to take to reproduce this bug? The more specific the steps.. the faster we can reproduce and confirm this bug.

Thank you!

Ok, here is the steps I did

Launch Totem,
Click + to add a song
(I' not sure but I think there was no music anymore when I did the next step)
Click on the "Edit" tab (=>"Edition" in Ubuntu-fr)
Click on "Add-on" (=>"Greffons" in Ubuntu-fr)
Click to select Jamendo (or another) add-on
Click "Close" to return to the main interface
Then when I click on any tab ("Movie" or "Help"), it's menu stays opened and the only way to make this stop is to ALT+TAB to another application/desktop and return to the Totem GUI.
Yesterday, during the same session, I could do this many times as I did it twice to take the capture.
But, today, I tried to reproduce it two or three times with no reaction (No GUI bug appearing) while listening a .mp3 song. Then I paused the track and tried it back two or three times and the last one has react.
This time, the whole GUI has been freezing and I had to kill -15 the process.

Ok, I hope my contribution will be useful.

I am so terribly sorry but I am unable, despite my best efforts, to reproduce this bug with a fresh installation of Ubuntu 9.10 x86 or Kubuntu 9.10 x86_64. I am going to mark your bug NEW and hopefully another triager is able to reproduce the problem and confirm it for you.

Ok, Thanks you for having trying to.
I also tried to reproduce one day later and had a different behaviour (totem freezes completely,I saw this bug is known from another one, so I clicked on "this bug also affects me") so, maybe "my" bug is due to another one more general.
If I reproduce it, I'll post again.

Thanks,
Newborn
