Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubuntuone-client

I installed my Ubuntu v. 6.10 one Mounth (and some days) ago.
Untill installation my CD/DVD ROM don't can work, so I installed v. 6.10 from my bootable Flash "Kingston", I made it under Ubuntu 9.04...
My CD/DVD work under Windows yet properly, but under Ubuntu 6.10 they can't be detected.
I made test 15 minutes ago, (I've wrote CD ISO files) on CD-R, but after change my system HD and put Ubuntu 6.10 in my System Rack, CD/DVD ROM don't detected repeatedly.
I have help from Administrators and Instructors, we made some tests (we communicate on Skype under this test) but we did not find the problem...
What I can to do?
