Bug Description

Binary package hint: amarok

Amarok doesn't play any sound after an installation of kubuntu-desktop in Ubuntu. I verified all the volume settings and they are fine. I'm using KDE.

Did you fix this problem yourself, Jonas? The bug has been marked as invalid.

If you haven't, try switching the phonon backend between gstreamer and xine. Amarok devs tend to recommend the xine backend now, and I think gstreamer is the default. Let me know either way though.

Thanks!

Yeah after the change in the configuration I restarted Amarok and it worked
fine after that, It was my mistake because I did not notices that Amarok was
still up in the systray. Thanks for your attention Andrew. I mark the bug as
invalid after I found the solution.
