Can't run; memory overflow

64-bit Kubuntu 9.10 with KDE 4.3.4. Installed Openshot from the PPA repositories. It crashes even before I see any windows opened:

Upgraded to Kubuntu Lucid beta and openshot 1.1.2 - and it also crashes:

Have you tried with openshot 1.1.3 ? And with the 1.2.0-dev ?

Seems that you missed some codec, have you check the dependencies ?
