I'm seeing this in version 1.2.2 in Maverick as well. When I run OpenShot from the terminal, "on_btnZoomIn_clicked" is displayed when I click the zoom in button. I'm not sure if this helps. Is there anything I can provide that would help fix this problem?

Travis, can you attach a video or screenshot of issue. I think this is related to the size of icons & text in your gnome theme. Can you try switching your gnome theme to a different theme, and see if OpenShot behaves any differently? Thanks!

I tried changing themes and I got the same results. Attached is a
video of what I see when zooming in on the timeline. Hopefully this
helps.

Thank you!

Hello everyone.
I have the same problem.
Since I spent my ubuntu station to version 10.10, I can not zoom in 1 second.
Everything else seems to work fine.

Great software beautifully simple and functional.

The original bug report refers to an issue where if you zoom in far enough, the playhead marker moves off the timeline to the right - I assume what is wanted is to zoom in centrally around the playhead, so it stays in view.

The last few comments on this bug refer to the canvas drawing issue (recently fixed).

I can't reproduce this.

There is now a fix for this committed to the trunk. Now when zooming in, the zoom is centered around the playhead position.
