Bug Description
The most noticeable visual issue I have with the dock currently is the visible separator that extends onto the desktop about twice the height of the dock. Also, from time to time, the icons disappear from the dock. opening a new application resets all the icons on the dock, though.
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10
Installed: Compiz, ATI proprietary drivers
System: Acer Aspire 6530, dual core Athlon, 3 gigs ram, ATI HD3200 video
The separator is clearly visible in the screenshot, between media icon and the Logout icon.

With regards to the disappearing icons, could you try the version in our PPA, to see if that issue is fixed? Installation instructions are at our wiki: wiki.awn- project. org/Installatio n:Ubuntu# PPA
