Bug Description

My Huawei E272 HSPA modem doesn't usually work with my Ubuntu Karmic. It rarely connects but even if it does it connects slowly and the leds on the modem blink in (I think) the wrong way. Normally it should show blinking blue when not connected and solid blue when connected (when in 3G). Now it blinks blue and when trying to connect it blinks green for a while and returns to blinking blue (or if it does connect, solid blue).
Modem worked fine with Jaunty (but I have done a firmware upgrade after that)
In the attached logs I managed to connect on third try and manually disconnected after that.
