Bug Description
Binary package hint: etckeeper
Since etckeeper 0.39, all commits are bzr-committed with author set as 'root@$hostname'. At the very minimum it should expand the $hostname to the real hostname. But this change also prevents using "bzr log --line" to get a quick overview of the changes, since --line (as --short) shows the author (and not the committer):
$ sudo bzr log /etc --line
2: "root <root@$host... 2009-12-14 Moo
1: "root <root@$host... 2009-12-14 Initial commit
