Cannot "Attach to Projects" in BOINC 6.4.5 on Ubuntu 9.10

3) What I expected to happen is that using the BOINC Manager GUI interface, I could attach to projects via "Tools" -> "Attach to Project..."

4) What happened instead is that after making the selection "Attach to Project...", the anticipated "Attach to Project" window does not appear. However, after 5 minutes of waiting, restart, uninstall and reinstall of BOINC 6.4.5 the window does not appear.
