boinc fails to attach to any project 9.10 karmic

Binary package hint: boinc

Boinc(client) will not connect to ANY project, (repository version 6.4.5, official build 6.6.36 and official build 6.10.4) verification of the server was done using wget and firefox.

windows client on windows pc connects fine.

Confirmed on Karmic with latest updates (as of now).

Can verify this bug exsists on Debian Sid as well now. as one of my Workstations is doing the same thing.

Confirmed on Debian Sid...

This must be due to a change in SSL... im going to try and revert to a older SSL from intrepid or Hardy to verify(Hope it doesnt break any packages...)

Problem's still there after the latest upgrade (broke things again after manually fixing it following the instructions on the site linked above)

After fresh install of Lucid, I have no problem attaching to projects. Seems "Fix Released".
