Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Please answer these questions:

* Is this reproducible?
* If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug?

The reason I am asking for more information is because I routinely watch shows on Hulu with Firefox 3.5.5. I am able to click on all the icons and use the mouse to start/pause playback. If you could answer these questions then it will help us find and resolve the problem.

Changed in firefox-3.5 (Ubuntu):
status: New → Incomplete

Dave Walker,

Hello, thank you for your help. I get this error every time I load a hulu
video and all things fail with the exception of the seek bar. I also get
this error from youtube.com with the same qualification that the seek bar
works. If it wasn't clear only the buttons in the video frame fail to work,
hypertext links still function. I do not get this error with
southparkstudios.com. I'm not familiar with Ubuntu but when I first used it
to access a video site that required me to install a player I believe I
installed the Adobe authored program (Flash). All I need to do is allow the
video to load and the pause/play, sound, hi-def/low-def ect. buttons will
not work. I hope that information is helpful, I'm still learning Ubuntu so
it is difficult to troubleshoot with the on-line forums alone.

This defect is not just with Firefox. I tried using Opera and get the same results. Worked OK with 9.04 but is not working since I updated to 9.10.
