Bug Description
When using USB mobile broadband, connection immediately disconnects. This has happened with three different USB-connections,in three different counbtries, ie irrespective of make of connection and isp-provider. The connection seems to be ok a fraction of a second, then disconnects.
My release is 9.04 - but I recently tried on my ASUS netbook with NMR 9.10, same problem.

I also saw this problem several times in the testing releases. However, things got a lot better since the imrpvoements to modem-manager.
Can you please try to reproduce this in karmic stable and report back whether it is still present?
