Bug Description
Binary package hint: acpi-support
In /etc/default/
# Switch to laptop-mode on battery power - off by default as it causes odd
# hangs on some machines. (Note: This is reported to cause breakage in
# Debian - see deb bug #425800. Leaving enabled for Ubuntu for now
# since presumably it's still valid here.)
ENABLE_
This is in the package source as well, its not a local edit.
Either the comment is wrong (and this should be false on Ubuntu), or unclear (and it means 'off by default on Ubuntu as well'), or the =false should be =true.
