gedit indent plugin is removed but gtksourceview is not updated

Bug Description

The version of gtksourceview installed do not have indent functionality implemented. This cause gedit to not be able to use indent function. No further version seems to be in progress either.

gedit (2.29.2-0ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low

 * New upstream versions:
   - Order hidden files after normal files on filebrowser
   - Removed indent plugin, this is now supported by gtksourceview
   - Implemented file open support on OS X
   - Fixed OS X native vs X11 built
   - Basic mac OS X integration
   - Use GtkSpinner instead of GeditSpinner
   - Misc bugfixes
   - Use the new completion framework in the snippets plugin
   - Misc bugfixes

Open gedit and select some text an press ctrl + t to indent...

Finally. Just waiting for it to roll out the servers.

Okey to indent a block of text you select the text and press tab. To remove an indent you select the text and press shift + tab.

However, this is very confusing since before the plugin was removed the key-shortcut was ctrl + t and ctrl + shift + t. And you had under edit the option to indent/unindent text.

Yes it is fixed. Though I hope that old user that used the old way to
indent should be notify the new way. The new way is just highlight and
press tab/shift+tab , while the old way was crtl + t / ctrl + shift +
t
