when I click on the tray icon and click 'connect', nothing happens

the icon has a '!' in it and no colour - not sure what i'm supposed to do

Hi Vikki, thanks for your bug report. I'm assigning it to someone to see if they can see what's going wrong.

Facundo: the errors in the exceptions log (NoAccessToken: No access token found.) seem similar to bug 427525 but I'm not entirely sure if I can mark it a duplicate.

Hi Vikki,

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Fortunately, I think there is a workaround for this problem as I believe it's related to bug 455544 which occurs when the bandwidth preferences are set to the defaults. If you delete ~/.config/ubuntuone/syncdaemon.conf and restart the Ubuntu One client, you should be able to connect.
