Hi Jipson,
I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Based on that error message, I'm guessing you're behind some sort of proxy server. Is that correct? If so, Ubuntu One won't currently work properly behind a proxy server. If you aren't behind a proxy server then can you try the following from a terminal session (Applications- >Accessories- >Terminal) and let me know what it outputs? host one.ubuntu.com
