Hi Jipson,

I'm sorry to hear Ubuntu One isn't working properly for you. Based on that error message, I'm guessing you're behind some sort of proxy server. Is that correct? If so, Ubuntu One won't currently work properly behind a proxy server. If you aren't behind a proxy server then can you try the following from a terminal session (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) and let me know what it outputs? host one.ubuntu.com

Thank you,

Joshua

Hi Joshua,

I don't get the error message always. Further,  I have succeeded in uploading a few of my photos to ubuntu one.
Though I don't know exactly whether I am using a proxy server or not, I shall attach the screen shot of the output.

Thank you for helping

Hi Jipson,

Has this behavior improved for you? It seems like name resolution and/or routing to Ubuntu One was not working all the time. This could be because of network connectivity issues, or possibly the client trying to connect before the network has fully started. The latter issue will be resolved in an update very soon.
