on ibook system fails to completely shut down

Bug Description

I have just installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my iBook and the suspend/resume is not working.

The system does enters the suspend mode, but when it resumes the keyboard and touchpad are locked.

My previous system was ubuntu 8.04 and there everything is ok.
