Are you behind a proxy server? If you run the following command from a terminal session, can you let me know what it reports back? host one.ubuntu.com

OK, that's good (what you reported). Are you behind a proxy server? Also, can you try quitting the Ubuntu One client and then from a terminal session (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) start the Ubuntu One client and report anything that is output? ubuntuone-client-applet

i am using an Adsl for my router, and my computer ip is set to 192.168.1.2
when my first time register my ubuntu one account, i can use the
ubuntuone-client-applet
automatic login in, but from that bug i report on, the ubuntu applet still
disconnected whenever
i click the connect commond and nothing is happen. as you wish i close my
ubuntuone-client-applet and
restart it in the terminal, there is nothing message shown, the applet still
disconnect, and the
connect commond still no effect.

hello joshua
    it is working now when i relogin my account in firefox and click the
applet's "connect" menu item,
and i try to login out my account in firefox and reconnect the applet, it
still work. i do not know why it happan?
