Bug Description

i tried to play a song using audacious, it doesn't work I get this error :
madplug: open_audio failed: XMMS reverse compatibility output plugin.

but mplayer works fine (BTW, i couldn't find mocp in puredyne packages ! :)

Which output are you using? Pulseaudio, Alsa, OSS, ... ?

Which settings?

Did you try others?

with alsa and oss drivers it works fine,
could it be the default setting?
(then people using jack set it by hand ?)

What are the default settings, when you start Puredyne and audacious for the first time, which backend is it using?

audacious default audio backend is pulseaudio indeed
