Bug Description

Some major files are not present in apt-files listing, especially "X files" :) - xorg.conf, Xorg, /etc/X11/X, ...
Most likely a problem with packaging, but should be fixed - if one tries to build a custom system taking advantage of modularized X, he should better be a guru, or have a lot of time, as it is difficult to see which packages own which files.

Although it's not a fix, I often encounter this behaviour when I need to run apt-file update. Also, for packages installed locally, you may get better results with `dpkg -S filename` to determine which package owns it, and `dpkg -L packagename` to get a list of files.

I think it's more a problem of a non actual generated Contents file on the archives. which can happen during development cycles.

closing it as not a bug :)
