update Grub-pc failed in my eeepc 701 and now I can't update the system

I had a very similar problem while updating my Acer Aspire one netbook. I was running Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10. I haven't found a fix for the update program yet.

My problem resolved by restart and finish installation of grub-pc proposed
by my update system. Now it runs very well. Sorry for my bad english but I'm
french and my school years are so far.
