HDMI output gives a message "Invalid Format" on the screen

Bug Description
When I enable output over HDMI there is no image on my LG 42PQ1000 TV and only "Invalid Format" message.
The error occurs when using radeon driver however on fglrx the output is correct and the image shows as expected.
