Bug Description

Binary package hint: x11-xserver-utils

I did a update of my previous version to 9.10 and after that I can't change my screen resolution to more than 800x600 dpi. I tried to switch over to 640x480dpi but then it went black for a few seconds, after that it went back to 800x600dpi. With the earlier version I had at least 1024x768dpi as default screen resolution

This issue was reported against karmic, so can you confirm if this issue exists with the most recent Lucid Lynx 10.04 Alpha release? ISO CD images are available at http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid/ . Thanks in advance.
