To make a screen-shot, press the "Print Screen" button. Note that it is possible that the screen shot might not actually have a capture of the video at that moment, but that is ok for now.

dkrowner, thanks for the screenshot. With this image, we can see that the video controls still appear. I take it that they are unresponsive to clicks? What about the other buttons like "Lower lights" or "Full screen"?

If they are completely unresponsive to clicks, then I wonder if this is a bug with flash? Could you list the flash-related addons that you have as well as version numbers?

exactly same problem here: I have buttons but they do not work.
Not only on Hulu but also on other website such as Tvshack and more.

I have a Pangolin Performance from System76 (adm64) and last version of Ubuntu (Karmic Koala)
Attached is a screen shot with the Firefox plugins list (do not know if it is useful though)

Thank you very much

found this with google

http://www.webupd8.org/2009/07/how-to-fix-full-screen-flash-videos-in.html

about fixing you tube video.
It occured to me that i never tried a you tube video on my Pangolin ...how strange.
Any way the same problem exists for you tube.

The solution working for me is slightly different from the proposed in the link above:
from a terminal i did:
"export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1"
instead of "env LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1"

and then "firefox" and the buttons on you tube video are now working.
I guess that if you add "export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1"
to your .bashrc or to your .profile you do not have to type every time from terminal
"export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1" but just double click Firefox icon.

Hope it helps.

However, Hulu,Tvshack and other website are still not working :(

Here is an interesting test, as it should indicate whether this is a flash problem or a firefox problem. Go to this link using FF3.5:

http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Astronomy_videos

These videos are displayed using the new HTML5 <video> tags and do not use flash. Yet, you can still interact with them the same way you would with flash video. Try a few out, try out their controls, and let me know how that goes.

Concerning the fullscreen, I have currently some problem and didn't try it.

So, I mark this bug as invalid
