problem with position and size of icons

Lo mismo paso conmigo. Los icons son estirado.
Tambien, el "scroll bar" ala derecha es un poco largo. No puede usarlo ver el menu en completo.

The same thing happens to me.
The icons get all streched out and the frame around them doesn't fit. I have all sorts of visual distortions, sometimes the icon appears below the window frame, others the frame distorted. Also the scroll bar appears too long where you can't scroll the menu down far enough to get to the icons on the bottom rows.

I have the same problem.
Asus eeepc 701, ubuntu netbook remix 9.10, fresh install, just upgraded, ubuntu repositories only.
A temporary and not fully working workaround was to disable some icons from alacarte.
The problem is not solved, even though, when there are sub-menus such as in the case of the System menu, which has the Preferences and the Administration submenus. In this case the icons from the upper menu overlay the icons from the second submenu.
