Impact of the bug: the package cannot be installed
How the bug bug has/will be addressed in lucid: the newer package in Unstable will be synced
TEST CASE: try "sudo apt-get install jlgui". The package fails to install because of missing openjdk6-jre package. After installing the -proposed package, the installation is fine
Potential regression: none as the package cannot be installed in the actual state

Can you please provide the information required for a SRU (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates)?
Also, don't change the status to Fix Committed until the fix has been uploaded to Ubuntu, as otherwise, no MOTU will have a look at it.

Also, in your changelog entry, don't mention the change of maintainer and don't update the Standards-version, as the debdiff for a SRU has to be minimal.

As I will take care of sponsoring this, I'll unsubscribe u-u-s.

I have deleted the old debdiff and uploaded the corrected one.
I make the changes Fabrice mentioned.
The reason for the SRU is simple the package can't be installed cause of the dependencies.

I've forgotten to edit the release from karmic to karmic-proposed.
In order to keep the bugreport clean, I've deleted the incorrect one.

I accepted this because it had motu-sru ack, but don't forget that it must also get into Lucid (and we normally do that before the SRU).

I found that there is a new debian version of this package. I would sync that one to lucid. Also I found a bug for that on the debian bug tracker.

Package is working now.

It doesn't work with pulseaudio when using openjdk, but you can use alsa as well when editing the preferences. This is also mentioned in the debian bug report.
