I tried the 1.5.90 release and got the same error :\

Looking at the source http://gitorious.org/isight-firmware-tools/mainline/blobs/master/src/extract.c The error message appears to be the same whether the fire is a drive or other file. My C is not string enough to know whether or not it would be possible to know that (as well as not knowing what the driver file structure is) but it would be useful to make more clear error messages.

With the above in mind I am running make and make install on the .90 release, i am running: cd /lib/firmware ift-extract --apple-driver AppleUSBVideoSupport (file is in the /lib/firmware directory) Am I doing it right?
