Bug Description
With an inserted SD card in any card reader, laptops do not correctly perform suspend or hibernate. When suspending or hibernating with a mounted SD card, the screen turns black but the machine does not hibernate or suspend but stays half-awake. Background light and fan are still on, unlike after a successful hibernate. I cannot switch to any virtual console or the X server. Only a hard reset helps.
Without a mounted SD card, everything works like a charm.
Auto-mounting is the default in Karmic, so simply having an SD card inserted into a built-in media reader will surface this defect.
Version is latest 9.10.
This has been observed on Thinkpad T61p, Thinkpad X61, Thinkpad X40, Acer Aspire One, and other systems.

PS: Inserting a SD card after suspension / hibernation and then waking the pc up doesn't cause problems.
