Update lives to have 4 binary packages

Hi,

I'm the Debian and Ubuntu maintainer of lives. Because my source package builds 4 binary package, and the GetDeb one only builds 1, dpkg thinks that when upgrading from the GetDeb lives to the repository lives libweed0/lives-data/libweed-dev from the repository is trying to overwrite files owned by GetDeb lives. When upgrading from repository lives to the GetDeb lives, dpkg thinks GetDeb lives is trying to overwrite files owned by repository libweed0/libweed-dev/lives-data. For details of the bug see bug #443201.

I'd be willing to maintain lives in GetDeb as a source package that builds 4 binary packages, but how do others feel about my doing this? I don't want anyone to feel I'm invading on their work.

Oh, I am sorry.

I did not remember your mail when I packages the new lives version.

But I did not release it in the karmic repository yet.

Ok. Me and upstream are slightly concerned that you're having to duplicate packaging efforts. If you want, you can just sync the Debian lives packages to GetDeb (after changing version numbers appropriately), as I'll always try to aim to update the Debian package within 24 hours of the upstream release, and my sponsor should hopefully upload it within a further 24 hours. If you still want to continue to package lives yourself, no worries.
