Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
I'm using ubuntu 9.04 i386 version, locale info as following:
~$ locale
LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE=
LC_NUMERIC=
LC_TIME=
LC_COLLATE=
LC_MONETARY=
LC_MESSAGES=
LC_PAPER=
LC_NAME=
LC_ADDRESS=
LC_TELEPHONE=
LC_MEASUREMENT=
LC_IDENTIFICATI
LC_ALL=
When using totem to play music with a Chinese title/artist name, characters may become irrecognizable. But this doesn't always take place. I guess a UTF-8 encoding name is ok, but a GBK encoding name will fail.
