network wireless hp printer activates but will not print

My hp psc 1300 printer will activate when I print a test page but it will not print. I have tried to print from three different programs and get the same result. After which nothing will print from any of my computers cause there is a print job in the QUE that shows (status) PRINTING. Have to reboot host computer to reset printer.

I am running linux mint 7 gloria.

The Mint 9 has recognized the USB printer HP Deskjet readily however could not print a test page or other text that was requested!

There is a work around noted at this launchpad location that works with the only known error to have occurred with this printer.

This has already been Upstreamed once to HP via ubuntu
Not sure if there is anything the Linux Mint Team can do to
resolve this issue more.
As has already been noted earlier, if you are still experiencing an issue with this try the forum or IRC to resolve, since this is not a bug pertaining to Linux Mint.
