Bug Description

Binary package hint: unbound

The unbound package from Debian is not linked into libevent - despite being in the archive.

This limits the number of FDs to 1024, which is not a lot of use in a large scale environment.

It would be much helpful to report this in Debian BTS and have a discussion with Robert.

This bug was fixed in the package unbound - 1.3.4-1ubuntu2

---------------
unbound (1.3.4-1ubuntu2) karmic; urgency=low

  * Add missing build-dep on libevent-dev and adjust debian/rules to build
    with libevent support (LP: #459041)
    - The default of only 16 outbound ports is clearly insufficient given
      current DNS spoofing risks
